Needless to say I was then and still am disgusted about finding BLOOD on my supposedly clean sheets!! There are signs all over the hotel and online saying how important everyone's health and safety is a priority for Hilton properties because of COVID-, but there is absolutely NO WAY that kind of cleaning/sanitizing is being done at that Hampton Inn or there wouldn't have been blood on our sheets!! There are diseases far worse than COVID- that can be transmitted through contact with contaminated blood!!! Despite having the cost of the room refunded I still will NEVER stay at that Hampton Inn ever again and I will NEVER recommend anyone else stay there either!!! Dirty rooms, rude, lazy, and lying staff for almost $ a night? NO THANK YOU!!!" I explained all that happened and was given a case number and was told that I'd have to wait business hours for my complaint to be reviewed and for someone to contact me about a resolution. Her attitude and tone of voice with me was horrible! Since there wasn't a manager at the property I could talk to I called Hilton's customer service when I left the hotel. ![]() She said the manager wouldn't be back until Monday morning so I'd need to call then. When I went down to turn in our keys I asked if there was a manger I could speak to because of the situation with the bloody sheets, etc. And to add insult to injury the desk clerk LIED in the notes she put into the computer and said that we did not complain and she LIED again to the manager and told her that she offered us a new room and we said we didn't want to move rooms!! Then the desk clerk the next morning called the room phone TWICE telling us that checkout was at am. "To start, there was blood on the sheets of our bed! Not a blood stain that had been laundered, FRESH blood that went all the way through to the actual mattress through the sheets and mattress cover!!! I was VERY upset and when I called the front desk I was told that I would have to come get another set of sheets and we were made to change the bloody sheets on our bed ourselves!!! Their website says that because of COVID- they offer on demand housekeeping for all guests anytime day or night. ![]() Rooms are nice and the sink at the coffee station was great, but our room smelled dank, or like the carpets needed cleaning." Front desk staff that we encountered was mediocre at best.
